Established in 1967, our locally owned and operated family company was one of the first cat and dog boarding kennels in all of Canberra. Since then, we’ve always enjoyed going the extra mile to make sure the animals in our care feel as happy and pampered as possible. This means when will handle any and all dietary/medical requirements, provide comfortable beds, and massive play areas!

At Whispering Pines we cater for all breeds and your best freind will always feel free to play and run in the exercise area without any stress from other dogs. We do not mix dogs from other families together as our main focus is to ensure that your loved one is happy and relaxed with the neighbors they have or we will move them around to find that perfect friend!

Why not let us have your pride and joy washed and dried so they are clean and fluffy ready to go home! Your best friends are washed in the Reverse Cycle A/C indoors kennels with a infra red heat lamp on them to ensure they stay warm while we blow dry them. We offer individual insulated and lined kennels with a spacious run. Also a family kennel for more than one dog families!...

Canberra Boarding Kennels & Catteries are supported by Yass Boarding Kennels and Cattery providing additional pet care, pets requiring boarding kennels & cat boarding come from Murrumbateman, ACT regions, southern Highlands, Goulburn, Sydney & Melbourne, to enjoy our dog and cat boarding and kennels for dogs and cats, plus the tantalizing 'world of scents' in our 3 acre leash free park with its own dams & ducks, heated kennels, dog training and grooming. Yass Pets is a companion boarding kennel where free group daily exercise is provided for all socialized dogs. We use premium pet foods and, if required, individual diets are easily catered for.

The cattery is located well away from the kennels overlooking the river and has spacious individual cages providing our feline friends with plenty of privacy and space for their bed, litter trays. Speedy the cat sleeping on the job and a scratching stand. An enclosed grassed play area is attached to the cattery for our visiting cats to stroll and play in.
